Beier Albany and Company is an equal partnership between Beier Industries (Pty) Ltd and Albany International, the largest producer worldwide of paper machinery clothing and engineered fabrics.

We obtained our SABS ISO 9002 listing in August 1992.

The partnership operates factories in the PINETOWN based complex of the Beier Industries Group, where we produce specialised, engineered industrial textile products for a wide variety of industries, including:

• Pulp and Paper-making
• Gold and Uranium Mining
• Environmental Pollution Control
• Conveyor Belts

The combination of Albany International's infrastructure and Beier Industries local expertise, sets us in the forefront of our field, enabling us to offer our Customers the very latest in technology backed by highly professional service.

Furthermore, a staff of 150 Scientists in Albany International's Research Laboratory ensures that we are on the cutting edge of technological advances. Ongoing research by our staff includes fibre spinning, polymer chemistry, textile processing and the production of composite materials for space exploration.

For example, 60% of the outer skin of each space shuttle is covered with felt developed and designed by Albany International. Innovative solutions such as these provide our Customers with competitive advantages and consolidate our pride in our achievements.
